Hosted by Wolfe's Neck Center as part of the Maine Grass Farmers Network workshop series, this evening farm tour will focus on silvopasture.

5-7 PM
Registration is required
Join us at Apple Creek Farm for a look at creating and managing silvopasture within a working grazing operation. Learn how livestock can be used in productive grazing systems created through subtraction rather than addition—using low-impact forestry methods to selectively open existing wooded areas instead of planting trees into open fields. Participants will explore practical approaches to integrating trees, forage, and animals to improve pasture productivity, animal comfort, soil health, and long-term farm resilience.
