Wool is an amazing insulator, making our sheepskins an essential home accessory as rugs, blankets, or throws.

Our hides are harvested from animals raised on our farm at the same time they are harvested for meat. Keeping hides out of the waste stream (where they would end up in a landfill) fulfills our "nose to tail" ethos by honoring the animal through use of all its parts. Our hides are prepared for tanning at the farm and then mailed to the tannery for tanning, trimming and washing. 

Each sheepskin is unique to the breed, age of sheep and the tanning process. 

Vermont Natural Sheepskins uses an all-natural, bark tanning method that is 100% non-toxic and eco-friendly. Processed by hand, these durable, one of a kind sheepskins are meant to last you a lifetime. 

This white sheepskin has deep, crimped fiber and measures 24"W x 32"L. Leather side has a supple, suede finish with the original Apple Creek Farm logo brand.
