This makes cashmere goat hides an essential home accessory as rugs, blankets, or throws. Well-loved by pets and humans alike!

This lush silver and white goat hide has short, silky guard hair with plenty of gorgeous cashmere. It features our favorite "Galloway" pattern of white across the middle. 

This hide measures 2.66' W x 3' L //  32" W x 36" L. Leather side has a suede finish with the original Apple Creek Farm logo brand. Goat hides are less pliable than sheepskins due to the thickness of the goat skin.

About the Process
Goat hides are harvested from our animals at the same time as their meat. Transforming the pelts into luxurious rugs is a great way to keep them out of the waste stream and honors every part of the animals we raise. Our hides are salted, scraped, and prepared for tanning at the farm and then mailed to Vermont for tanning, trimming and washing. 

Vermont Natural Tanning uses an all-natural, bark tanning method that is 100% non-toxic and eco-friendly. Processed by hand, these durable, one of a kind sheepskins are meant to last a lifetime.

Each cashmere goat hide is unique based on the color, length of hair, and the tanning process.
